Intris · Containerized Data Center Advisory

Plan a container-based data center with the right engineering choices.

Use this advisory page to structure a containerized data-center requirement for edge, enterprise, disaster recovery, telecom, industrial and AI-ready deployments. Define the IT load, rack density, redundancy, cooling and backup requirement, then compare practical OEM approaches before moving to detailed engineering.

Consultant's Requirement Planner

Start with the engineering inputs that matter.

Use the inputs below to test the broad architecture before engaging in detailed design. The objective is to identify the likely power, cooling, modularity and OEM considerations—not to replace project-specific engineering.

Reference Option 01 Schneider Electric True prefabricated modular IT, power and all-in-one data-center modules with AI-ready pod architectures.
Reference Option 02 Legrand End-to-end source-to-rack infrastructure spanning UPS, racks, PDU, cooling, monitoring and micro data-center building blocks.
Expert advice before you size the container: Start with the actual critical IT load and peak rack density. Do not select a container size first and force the requirement into it. Redundancy, cooling method, maintainability, site ambient conditions and future density usually have more impact on the final architecture than the physical container length.
India planning basis: 400 / 415 V, 3 Phase, 50 Hz. Container dimensions, structural load, fire rating, IP protection, seismic design, wind loading and statutory approvals must be checked for the specific project location.

What outcome is driving the project?

Select the project outcome that matters most. The page will highlight the design characteristics and OEM approaches worth examining more closely.

Consultant focus: factory-integrated, transportable and repeatable modular infrastructure with reduced onsite work.
OEM Reference Landscape

Five approaches worth comparing.

Use the OEM cards as a comparison starting point. The right choice depends on the required load, rack density, site conditions, redundancy, serviceability, local support and the extent of factory integration needed.

Consultant's Comparison

Where the OEM approaches differ.

Treat published product families as a reference point. Validate India availability, maintainability, local support, certifications, lead time and the exact responsibility split before specifying an OEM.

Consultant's Decision Framework

Six checks before you freeze the solution.

01Confirm the load case

Separate present IT load, growth load and peak rack density instead of sizing from rack count alone.

02Challenge redundancy

Decide where N, N+1 or 2N is genuinely required across UPS, distribution and cooling.

03Test thermal strategy

Check ambient conditions, rack density and future AI loads before fixing DX, chilled-water or liquid-ready cooling.

04Compare OEM boundaries

Understand what is factory integrated, what remains site scope and where multi-OEM interfaces create risk.

05Review maintainability

Validate access, replacement clearances, bypass paths, spares, service support and future expansion before freezing layout.

06Freeze the technical brief

Document performance, Novec 1230 / FK-5-1-12 strategy, monitoring, testing criteria and acceptance requirements before procurement.

Intris · Independent Project Discussion

Want a second view before you freeze the design?

Share the IT load, rack density, redundancy, backup time and deployment environment. Use the discussion to review assumptions, identify design gaps and compare the implications of different OEM architectures before procurement.

Advisory planning information only. Use the output to structure requirements and compare design directions. Final OEM selection, India availability, statutory compliance, structural design, redundancy, cooling performance, Novec 1230 / FK-5-1-12 system engineering, testing criteria and subsystem compatibility must be validated for the actual project.
